Ingredients
- 2kg of beef
- 500 ml breadcrumbs
- 20 ml of minced garlic
- 5 ml mustard (powder)
- 2 onions, chopped
- 125 ml of fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped
- 5 ml black pepper
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 375 ml of BBQ sauce
- 75 ml of ketchup
- 125 ml of water
- 200 ml of tomato paste
- 75 ml brown sugar
Preparation
- Mix all ingredients for meatballs. Form balls of 2.5 cm in diameter.
- Cook the meatballs in a shallow baking dish. Allow 20 minutes cooking at 350 F/180 C.
- Transfer the meatballs in the stoneware pot of the slow cooker. Mix the sauce ingredients to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Pour it over the meatballs.
- Cover and cook on low setting 4 hours or 2 hours at high setting
